Did you know Costco does SAME DAY DELIVERY*? This is not an #ad! This is a Lymie's dream. I get all the good stuff that is also heavy, delivered right to my door.
I end up saving a ton of money when I shop at Costco, even though I am buying for one, because of all the vegetables I eat and all the carbs and unhealthy snacks I don’t.
I went to this beautiful wellness retreat at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona and one of the chef’s there told me to buy 3 types of vegetables and then rotate my choices each week so that I am not over spending but also don’t get bored. It has been something that I have lived by and it was amazing advice!
Here is my list...
Vegetables & Fruit -
1) Organic Power Greens
--TIP: I use these for smoothies and for salad
2) Organic Avocados
3) Organic Squash (yellow squash and zucchini mix)
4) Frozen Cauliflower Rice
-- TIP: Sautee this with the zucchini and power greens and add ground turkey or chicken
5) Organic Frozen Broccoli Florets
--TIP: These are precut and in small packages. I will throw these in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes and eat it with olive oil, salt & pepper, and chicken.
6) Organic Cucumbers
7) Frozen Organic Fresh Start Smoothie Blend
Meat -
1) Kirkland Signature Rotisserie Chicken - premade and delivered hot!
2) Ground Turkey
Carbs -
1) Lotus Organic Brown Rice Ramen
--TIP: You can cook these in chicken stock instead of water (can also buy the chicken stock through Costco) and add some cut up vegetables and meat
2) Seeds of Change Quinoa & Brown Rice
3) Quinoa
